Concessions
You may be entitled to reduced fares on public transport.
- for buses: your local authority will run a Disabled
Persons Concession scheme. Contact the council’s transport information
officer or the local Passenger Transport Executive
- for coaches: contact the coach operator
- for taxis: your local authority may have a taxi
scheme, which means cheaper taxi fares. Conditions and rates vary –
contact your local authority for details. For information on the London

Railcard, gives you to up to a third off a standard fares. It costs
£18 per year.
