The Brig-Ayd Super Integral Lift (BASIL) is designed as both a person and wheelchair hoist. It can have one fitting in the passenger compartment to help a person get into the car using a sling, and then be moved to the luggage compartment to load the wheelchair. The electric motor raises and lowers the sling, and is operated by a control box with push buttons. Sideways movement is manual. Slings come in three sizes. The hoist automatically connects to the power supply provided by the vehicle battery when fitted to the mounting point, and uses an electric motor to lift you up and down. The removeable part weighs 9.5kg.
Price includes installation with one mounting point; each additional one costs £483.
