Using the rack
Its shape made it hard to carry. To fit it you had to align two holes,
put a pin through them and tighten a bolt with a spanner or wheel brace
- all while holding the rack steady. Most of our testers could not do
this easily.
The wheels of the chair slotted easily on to the rack but the chair had
to be lifted first. The rack was not suitable for people with limited
strength, poor balance or a weak back, nor by those with the use of only
one arm.
