Bottles with a valve to reduce colic

Bottles with a valve to reduce colic

We bought two versions with an extra assembly that fits in the bottle. The manufacturers claim the valve prevents the baby gulping air when feeding.

PROS

  • Easy to fill with baby milk powder so fewer spills
  • Dome-shaped cap which is easier to remove
  • Curved shape so comfortable to hold.

CONS

  • More parts to clean and assemble, so less suitable if you can use only one hand or have learning difficulties
  • Takes up more space in sterilisers.
