Disposable bottles and bottle liners
Disposable bottles and bottle liners
Avent and Playtex make bottles which come with a disposable liner like
a plastic bag. The Steri-bottle is completely disposable, used once and
thrown away. Once filled with the teat on, it cannot be taken apart.
PROS
- With a disposable liner you will need to sterilise only the teats
- Avoid the need to buy a steriliser - sterilise teats in a pan of boiling
water
- With the Steri-bottle, no need to sterilise at all
- Convenient when away from home.
CONS
- Disposable liners can be fiddly and difficult to use if you have dexterity,
sight or learning disabilities
- The Steri-bottle is expensive to use, and wasted if you put on the
teat by mistake.
