Hayley Dawson, researcher

Hayley is a researcher with RiDC.

She holds a PhD in Translation Studies from the University of Roehampton, an MA in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a BA in Spanish from the University of Roehampton. Prior to joining RiDC she worked as a researcher on EU and ESRC funded projects on media accessibility. She also works as a freelance translator and subtitler, and as a speech-to-text interpreting trainer with the Galician Observatory for Media Accessibility.

She is passionate about user experience, design, and the creation of accessible products and services.

Hayley works on a wide range of projects including data collection, analysis and reporting.
